Aims:

To improve pupils' and parents understanding of English pronunciation and speech system with the help of diagrams, IPA symbols and basic theories.

• The International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA)
• Vowels and diphthongs
• Consonants
• Syllable and stress
• Application of phonetic symbols in dictionaries
• The pronunciation of -ed ending verbs
• Weak-forms and strong-forms
• Connected speech: linking
• Introduction to intonation
• Improve listening skills by using audiobook

Target:	Primary school pupils and their parents
No. of lessons:	10 lessons
Fee:	$2,000 (1 pupil + 1 parent) $3,000 (1 pupil + 2 parents / 2 pupils + 1 parent)
